Ensuring sustainability

The Purpose

The 10% Club Reserve is formed to promote the sustainability of the 10% Club. The reserve aims to generate an annual return that is used to create AirDrops to members in the 10% club. The return is furthermore used to add value to and promote the causes in the 10% Club.

Specific Execution

Members of the 10% Club will own NFT's belonging to causes in the 10% Club or be contributors to initiatives of the 10% Club.

The return generated from the reserve will be converted into Krugerrands. This is to promote the awareness and trust in the Open Earth ecosystem as well as show the belief we have in the In-Trust assets we explore. The creation of Krugerrands will be outside the scope of the Krugerrands project and will be over and above the alloted Krugerrands in that project. This will add value to members of The Elementals community as well as the Krugerrands community.

The newly minted Krugerrands will be AirDropped to members of the 10% Club. These AirDrops will be done strategically to create value in the causes. A simple example would be to increase the trade of a causes collection by selecting holders in that collection for the AirDrop. This action should improve the trade volume of that collection which would compound the return to the cause. Worst case the AirDrop would add value to those already supporting the cause.

Source of Income

The source of income for the reserve is fashioned predominantly on the premis of the 10% Club. Open Earth Labs will take 10% of all after-tax profit and place it in this reserve to fulfill the objectives of the 10% Club.

In addition to this source of income the 10% Club itself will build this reserve over time as 50% of after-tax profit from the sale of any causes collection will be allocated to the reserve.
